Dr Cooper Attends Recent ISAPS Conference in San Francisco


Dr Cooper attended the recent ISAPS conference in San Francisco in August 2010. This was attended by 500 colleagues worldwide, and some interesting discussions took place. One of the most exciting discussions was regarding the potential of transferring viable fat and stem cells, as a byproduct of liposuction, for the reconstruction of soft tissue defects and potentially down the track augmentation of body parts, such as the breasts or buttocks. There was also an interesting talk by the leader of the team who performed the first total face transplant in the United States.

Dr Cooper is also attending a Conference on Breast Augmentation, sponsored by Allergan, in Singapore in September.
